about

The second collection of my earlier electronic work from the digital (but pre-computer) days, with a Casio CZ-101 synth and DH-100 MIDI horn, Roland S-10 sampler, Yamaha TX-81z synth and QX-5 sequencer, Alesis HR-16 drum machine, Yamaha TG-33 synth, going to a Fostex 200 4-track cassette deck. Everything was rescued from stereo cassette tape dubs from the original 4-track masters, in various states of age and disrepair; while cleaned and balanced a bit, the sound quality is what it is. While the sound may not always be "technicolor", the tracks capture an immediacy, freshness, and sheer seat-of-the-pants creativity in making these pieces single-handed in the corner of my various apartment living rooms.

A word: A few of the tracks are fairly long "suites" of movements. While I might have broken them into their respective movements, they were always meant to be listened to together.

I done did it all myself, and it made me happy.
